Miranda Miller

Miranda is a senior who loves weirdness, words, and weird words. She's also a band kid, Nanowrimo winner, and avid reader. Because of all this, she's an English and creative writing major who has a tendency to linger in the campus libraries.
Braja Servin

Braja is a third-year at the University of Iowa double majoring in Japanese and English and creative writing. If she isn’t promoting usage of the Easter Island emoji, screaming about BL and shoujo manga on Twitter, or streaming ATEEZ, she is forever making changes to her WIPs character sheets.

Klaudia Lukaszczyk

Klaudia is a third-year student at the University of Iowa majoring in marketing. With a minor in media management. Outside of Wilder Things she is also very passionate about going to the gym, reading and traveling. She is also very passionate about school and her major in marketing. Other than that Klaudia is usually either studying, at the gym, or hanging out with friends.
Nick Layeux

Nick Layeux is a third-year English Creative Writing major from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is KRUI's Training Director and writes short fiction.

Charice Salzar

Charice is (technically) a third-year student who's just taking some classes here and there before she decides her major course of study. She's currently unsure of a lot of things but she does know that she loves writing and reading, if there's time, and crocheting clothes and little trinkets for herself and her friends.
Autumn Mayer

Autumn is a second-year student at the University of Iowa, studying English and creative writing on the publishing track and French. When she's not busy working on Wilder Things, being an Honors Writing Fellow, or translating for Boundless, she can be found making her way through an endless TBR, writing, or generally being creative.
Tatum Cuttell

Tatum is a third year majoring in English on the publishing track and Communications. When she's not drinking an iced chai latte or reading in her hammock, she's probably admiring the books on her shelf or talking way too much. When not writing posts for the Wilder Things Blog, she's probably avoiding her residents like all great RAs do.
Emily Harkin
Treasurer (she/her)
Emily is a pre-law student at the University of Iowa majoring in English with a double minor in criminology, law, and justice and political science. She enjoys reading about fantasy, science fiction, and historical romances. She loves plants, decorating, fashion, and Lay's Spicy Dill Pickle chips.
Sierra Christensen
Marketing Team Member (she/her)

Sierra is a third-year student at the University of Iowa majoring in English and creative writing on the publishing track. With minors in news media and literacy and communications. Outside of Wilder Things she is also the Recruitment chair for the University of Iowa Dance Club. When not doing her hair extracurriculars you can either find her hanging with her friends or curled up on the couch reading or binge watching her favorite shows (i.e. Criminal Minds).

Abby Kloha

Abby is a second year studying translation and creative writing. She loves to write science fiction and creative nonfiction short stories, but enjoys a bit of poetry and novel writing as well. She loves pretending she knows how to draw, playing video games, and studying Spanish and Japanese.
Danielle Withrow

Danielle is a third-year student majoring in English and creative writing on the publishing track with a Spanish minor. She’s had an ardent love for writing since elementary school and traveled from southern California to pursue her passion at The University of Iowa. She can often be found spending time with friends or snuggled on the couch watching Bob’s Burgers. She hopes to one day travel the world, with Costa Rica, Spain, and Greece as her top bucket list destinations.
Shea Winters
Typesetter (she/her)
Shea is a second year majoring in English and Creative Writing on the publishing track. When she's not reading or watching cheesy rom-coms, she might be found fantasizing about doomsday scenarios or about how she would (or wouldn't) survive the zombie apocalypse. Outside of Wilder Things, Shea works as the art editor for InkLit and as a writing editor for snapshots magazine.

Josh Hart

Josh Hart is a senior majoring in English and minoring in religious studies. They enjoy embroidering, queer fantasy and sci-fi, and learning way too much about animation. When not running from classes to work, they're pretty much a permanent staple in the downtown library.
Josephine Geiger-Lee

Josephine is a junior studying English and creative writing. Right now, she is drowning in her TBR list yet keeps adding more books to it. She might not be a math major, but this doesn't feel sustainable.
Ren Kern

Lauren is a second-year English and Creative writing major on the publishing track who looks forward to the ever growing list of novels on her reading list. She enjoys fantasy and sci-fi novels, cooking (which is not easy to do in a college dorm), and dancing as she is a part of the WalkItOut Hip Hop team.
Eva Brooks

Eva Brooks is a second-year English and creative writing and art major at the University of Iowa. She loves iced coffee, taking baths, and writing fantasy stories of characters almost kissing.
Taylor Conrad

Taylor Conrad is a junior originally from a tiny town in southeast Iowa situated snuggly between a patchwork of corn and soybean fields. She is majoring in English and Creative writing and on the publishing track, but when she is not studying you can find her playing indie video games, singing in the university's Camerata Choir, and cuddling with her beloved rescue cat, Skeeter. She is thrilled to be a part of the Wilder Things team this year!
Maddie Zell

Maddie is a junior in the Honors Program, majoring in English and creative writing on the publishing track. When she’s not reading or writing, Maddie can be found singing along to Taylor Swift songs or searching for dogs to pet around campus.
David Priester
Web Editor Assistant (he/him)
David is a fourth year Creative Writing / Computer Science double major. He enjoys reading science fiction, fantasy, historical fiction, romance, horror, or really just anything that piques his interest. He spends the majority of his time running errands, doing chores, playing video games (poorly), and writing (sometimes).
