A Consideration of Fate
Wilder Things Volume 9
Dear Reader,
Last fall we explored choice and the say we have in our lives. For our spring digital issue we've gone to the other end of the spectrum, what's going to happen no matter what?
The digital issue is always bittersweet. While we love getting to workshop pieces with authors and experimenting with how far we can push Wix to get it to do what you're seeing, the digital issue also comes with goodbyes. Thank you to all of the hard work of everyone on staff, we've created some amazing volumes.
We also want to thank our contributors and those who submitted for all of their hard work and for giving us the opportunity to read your work. Whether you found us on campus, through a friend, or a random email from a professor a thousand miles from Iowa, we are glad our strings crossed paths.
Fate is a scary concept. We're trying to become more comfortable in not knowing what will come next, join us. Love, hate, forgetting, remembering, all the knots and snags in your string don't unthread your needle.
Curious as to what fate has in store for you? Just follow the string.
Sincerely,
The Wilder Things Magazine Staff
