Hello again Wilder Things enthusiasts! Although we're already a few weeks in, we'll still happily welcome you all back to campus and hope everyone's semesters are off to a smooth start. And on the note of endings and new beginnings, we'd like to express our gratitude to everyone who attended the launch party for our magazine's 8th volume! Wilder Things is only able to contribute to the Iowa City literary scene thanks to your continued support, wonderful literary submissions, and everything else this incredible community has given us. From all of the staff here at Wilder Things, thank you so very much <3
And hey, speaking of submissions: as I am sure you've heard if you keep up with our official Instagram page over at @wilderthingsmag, our submissions for our online spring issue are open! This semester's process is especially fun because accepted authors have the unique opportunity to collaborate with our wonderful workshop team to truly perfect their piece for its debut in the magazine, so don't miss out! Submissions do close on February 7th though, so be sure to get your pieces submitted soon if you haven't already. We look forward to reading through everyone's contributions!
